Basics of Esports Landscape
2 ECTS Credits; 54 working hours.
Learning from the past and improving the future. Providing a general overview of the esports landscape along with its key stakeholders, revenue generators, and storied history.
Esports Business
5 ECTS Credits; 135 working hours.
The Esports Business course is an all encompassing curriculum focusing on five primary topics including the initial emergence of esports, the history of management in the space, key industry stakeholders, governing principles, and the innovative Business Model Network. By completing this course content, you will have a better understanding of the esports landscape and how it applies in a management and business setting.
Self-Development and Coaching
5 ECTS Credits; 135 working hours.
Getting acquainted with theory and practice from psychology that will help you advise/practice esports professionals and amateurs in self-development and coaching.
Mental Conditioning and Psychology
2 ECTS Credits; 54 working hours.
Esport is a mental discipline. When working with esport as a professional, it’s therefore a must to have a basic understanding of how psychology and mental conditioning can help players, coaches and even yourself, to further their development. Through this course you will get an introduction to what mental conditioning is, how it fits with psychology in general and how you can use it in your real-life setting.
Esports Law and Entrepreneurship
5 ECTS Credits; 135 working hours.
Whether you are joining a pre-established organization or starting your own, understanding the legal requirements of the industry is essential to operating in the esports industry. From player contracts and sponsorship agreements to navigating the complex space of copyright infringement and business operational law, we offer a simplistic yet comprehensive view of these areas throughout this course.

Upon completing a course on the Esports University platform, students are rewarded with full university credits through the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS). All material featured in our courses was created with oversight from the Esports Research Network, a collaboration of various researchers fostering interdisciplinary research on the emerging phenomenon of esports.
Our courses are completely self-functioning and therefore can be completed on your own time and around your personal schedule. For reference, one ECTS-credit is worth an approximate 27 hours of student working time.
